PURPOSE: To appoint Aaron Losik to Position 1 on the Snohomish County Ethics Commission for a three-year term as required by Snohomish County Code 2.50.080
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Code (SCC), Chapter 2.50.080, created the Ethics Commission to receive complaints of ethics violations and otherwise administer the Code of Ethics in SCC Chapter 2.50. Membership is established by SCC 2.50.090. The Ethic Commission is composed of five (5) members that are eligible under serve up to two three-year terms. SCC 2.50.080 authorizes the Snohomish County Executive to appoint and reappoint members, subject to confirmation by the Snohomish County Council. The proposed motion confirms the appointment of Aaron Losik to a three-year term ending on June 30, 2024.
