PURPOSE: Approve a four year agreement for Performance Audit Services - See SCC 2.700
BACKGROUND: SCC 2.700 establishes the Office of the County Performance Auditor and indicates that the role may be staffed by an independent contractor. The County issued RFP 23-015LY and received five responses. Sjoberg Evashenk was the highest scored responder as scored by the review panel. The agreement, if approved, would begin August 1, 2023, and expire July 31, 2027, for a not to exceed amount of $400,000. Companion Motion 23-405 proposes the appointment of George Skiles as the County Performance Auditor.
