PURPOSE: Approval of the 2026 Rental Rates to be charged by the Fleet Services Division
BACKGROUND: SCC 4.34.015 (2) requires Council’s approval by motion of the schedule of rates prepared by the fleet manager no less than annually nor more often than each calendar quarter. Each rate covers all of the costs incurred by the fund, including cost of replacement and cost of repair if such is assumed by the county. Rentals shall be made only to county departments or other governmental agencies. Charges for rentals shall be billed monthly and deposited in the ER&R fund upon receipt. The rental rates attached are the basis for developing the 2026 budget submitted by Fleet Services.
