PURPOSE: To allow forensic pathology locums tenens to assist with our caseload in the midst of a forensic pathologist shortage.  

 

BACKGROUND: Due to a nationwide shortage of forensic pathologists, we have been unable to hire for the Associate Medical Examiner position (soon to be two vacancies). We have been advertising since January 2022. This contract will allow for extra help with performing autopsies and exams.
