PURPOSE: Amend Title 30 SCC to incorporate updated references, policy numbers, and chapter elements for consistency with Snohomish County’s adopted 2024 Comprehensive Plan.
BACKGROUND: This ordinance amends 11 sections of Title 30 SCC to update references for consistency with Snohomish County’s 2024 Comprehensive Plan, adopted by Amended Ordinance No. 24-033. The previous plan, adopted in 2015, included a General Policy Plan (GPP), maintained separate chapters for Capital Facilities and Utilities, and did not structure content into elements. The 2024 Comprehensive Plan eliminates references to the GPP, reorganizes content into elements, and consolidates the Capital Facilities and Utilities chapters into a single element. It also includes numerous updates throughout the plan, including additions, amendments, and deletions of various policies.
