EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION:  n/a

 

PURPOSE: The purpose of this ordinance is to establish a new section of County Code relating to parking in unincorporated Snohomish County.

 

BACKGROUND: This Ordinance would add a new section to County Code, Chapter 11.06, Snohomish County Code, establishing parking regulations for recreational vehicles. The new section of code would prohibit recreational vehicle’s parking on a public roads, and right of ways, in unincorporated Snohomish County without moving for more than 72 hours. If the vehicle violates this time restriction, a notice will be put on the vehicle, and they will have an additional 72 hours to move. If the recreational vehicle hasn’t moved after the additional 72 hours from notice of violation, the law enforcement officer may have it towed at their discretion. This is ordinance number one of two, the second ordinance amends SCC 4.121.
