PURPOSE: Council’s approval of the 2025-2030 Parking Management Services Agreement with LAZ Parking Northwest to manage the County Campus parking facilities in Everett, WA.

 

BACKGROUND: RFP 24-37RB was issued earlier this year for Parking Management Services and the proposal submitted by LAZ Parking Northwest LLC was chosen as the most responsive to the criteria set forth in the RFP. Parking Management Services will transition from Republic Parking on January1,2025 upon approval of the new contract. It is expected that LAZ will retain the current parking staff when they take over. LAZ Parking has been in existence for 41 years, currently operating in 42 states managing 410,000 parking spaces for government agencies. Current regional customers include the Port of Everett and Pierce County.
