PURPOSE: Approve the County Executive to execute The Salvation Army HOME ARP Contract for the Everett New Start Center
BACKGROUND: The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development allocated HOME ARP funding Snohomish County and approved the County’s HOME ARP Plan. County Council approved the HOME ARP award for The Salvation Army (TSA) New Start Center November 27, 2024 by Motion 24-434.
All services, and maintenance and operations contracts and amendments for County-owned property where the aggregate total is more than $50,000, must be approved by County Council. The HOME ARP contract will provide for supportive services at the County-owned Everett New Start Center.
