BACKGROUND: A competitive Request for Proposals - Software (RFP-C) was issued for License, IT Asset Management and Network Discovery. The Department of Information Technology previously procured these licenses through competitive RFP-25-0446JM-C. Cost to extend licenses through the current contract exceeds the allowable cost increase of 20% above the initial reward. Therefore, a new competitive process was required. Eight (8) firms submitted proposals. A previous Bid Award Recommendation was entered through ECAF 2026-1127. Contract negotiation with the previously named Awardee was unsuccessful. As such, evaluation of the proposals determined vPrime Tech to be the next highest ranked proposer. The intent of this revised Bid Award Recommendation is to move forward with award to vPrime Tech. The initial award term will be five (5) years, ending May 18, 2031, with an estimated expenditure of $162,000.00 over the initial term.
