PURPOSE: Approve legal name change of a nonexclusive right of way franchise from Mobilitie, LLC to Boldyn Networks US LLC.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County granted a telecommunications franchise to Mobilitie, LLC on November 14, 2016 via Ordinance 16-061 and recorded under Auditor File 201611150572. On June 28, 2023 Mobilitie, LLC underwent a legal name change to Boldyn Networks US LLC. The Franchise granted to Mobilitie, LLC is set to expire on November 14, 2036. County Council approval of the change in identity of the franchisee is required in accordance with the terms of the Franchise. Approval of the attached motion would provide the required consent of the County Council to change the franchisee from Mobilitie, LLC to Boldyn Networks US LLC
