EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved by Ken Klein 7/25/23
PURPOSE: Increase the number of FTEs in District Court General Fund by 2.0 project positions.
BACKGROUND: The District Court will receive grant funding from the Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts for the equivalent of 2.0 project positions from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. A Supplemental Appropriation Ordinance will be submitted to appropriate sufficient funding to support the addition of these 2.0 positions pending receipt of grant funding from Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts. Until then, these 2.0 FTE positions are funded due to vacancy savings within the department.
