PURPOSE: To approve a budget transfer within Grant Fund 130 to provide expenditure authority for the Secretary of State’s Information Security Grant to support, upgrade and enhance election security efforts at the county level.
BACKGROUND: The Secretary of State’s Information Security Grant provides funding to support, upgrade and enhance election security efforts at the county level. A budget transfer is necessary to provide expenditure authority for $160,000 for 2023.
