PURPOSE: Approval of compensation increases for non-represented county employees
BACKGROUND: Negotiations were recently completed for the AFSCME Master Collective Bargaining Agreement and ratified by the employee Union members. The agreement covers the time period of January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021. This agreement provides for a 1.0% increase in pay effective April 1, 2021 for represented employees covered by the AFSCME Master Agreement. This motion affords the same 1.0% increase in pay effective April 1, 2021 to non-represented employees.
