PURPOSE: To obtain Executive approval of Funding Approval Form for WA State DES, Energy Program
BACKGROUND: In 2024, the Washington State department of Commerce (COM) introduced the Public Building Audit Incentive program grant, which provides reimbursable payments for energy audits completed after June, 2023 through June 30, 2025. Facilities applied for this program for the campus Administration Buildings, Courthouse Building, and Denney Juvenile Justice Center. The application was reviewed by COM and approved in December of 2024. The attached agreement allows Snohomish County Facilities to receive the monies and for it to be deposited back into the energy efficiency fund upon completion of the work.
