PURPOSE: This ordinance amends recent changes to Snohomish County Code 3.05 that established a Priority Hire Program
BACKGROUND: Earlier June 5, 2024 the Priority Hire Program was established by Council, with the goal to encourage Snohomish County residents to have more access to employment opportunities in the trade unions and to reduce barriers to employment of those interested individuals. This new ordinance will amend the previous ordinance to further the actual implementation of the program.
