PURPOSE: Submission of Annual SWM Financial Report per SCC 25.05.045(1).
BACKGROUND: The 2024 year-end financial report of Surface Water Management (SWM) revenues and expenditures by council district is provided for Council review and acceptance.
In 2024, SWM collected $30,889,416 in service charges and spent $40,186,939 on services and capital projects within its service district.
In 2024, SWM collected $4,502,000 in grant revenues for programs delivered in the county last year. SWM delivered significantly more in services and capital projects, roughly $9.3M more than it collected in 2024 service charge revenue.
SWM has spent more in each individual council district over the past five years than it has collected in service charge revenues within each council district.
