PURPOSE: Bid Award Recommendation - PW-26-0728SB - 2026 County Overlay & ADA Program
BACKGROUND: A competitive bid was issued for improvements to several locations throughout Snohomish County, including the Bothell area near 228th St SW & 14th Ave W, and to airport-area roads (24th Pl W, 29th Ave W, 31st Pl W, 94th St SW, & 109th St SW). Tasks will include roadway rehabilitation, resurfacing, ADA ramp upgrades, utility cover adjustments, pavement markings, signal detection, traffic control, and other work. Three (3) bid submittals were received, the lowest responsible bidder being Granite Construction for an award amount of $2,478,507.74 plus applicable Washington State Sales Tax.
