PURPOSE: To approve the 48 open space taxation applications.
BACKGROUND: The Open Space Taxation Act (Chapter 84.34 RCW) seeks to conserve open space lands for the production of food and crops, and to preserve natural and scenic resources. Applications to enter into the Open Space General program are reviewed by PDS and recommendations for approval are provided to Snohomish County Council for decision-making. There are 48 applications in this report.
