EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION:  Approved by Lacey Harper 6/17/2026

 

PURPOSE: The Everett Community College desire to enter into an affiliation agreement to place student interns with the Snohomish County Health Department.

 

BACKGROUND: The Snohomish County Health Department recognizes that internships provide the student with practical experiences in health-related, safety, and emergency management settings under appropriate supervision and gives students the chance to explore public health as a potential career path. The Snohomish County Council passed Ordinance No. 24-002 approving a form agreement to be used with any such school desiring to enter into an affiliation agreement with the Snohomish County Health Department on February 21, 2024.
