PURPOSE: Piggyback Award Recommendation - PB-26-0692LY - Road Surface and Repair Materials
BACKGROUND: Public Works Roads division has need for Road Surface and Repair Materials and is seeking award approval to utilize DES issued competitive solicitation number 05124 , in accordance with the Council approved agreement with DES, as authorized under Motion 24-232. DES awarded this contract to multiple bidders across five (5) categories, one of which includes Polymer Modified Crack and Joint Sealants (HIGH END PERFORMANCE). County users will utilize the suppliers in the priority order listed in the DES award, or determine which supplier charges the lowest price. The requested award amount is an estimated $150,000 over a six (6) year period.
