PURPOSE: Executive to sign the agreement between Snohomish County, through its Health Department, and Ascendient Healthcare Advisors, Inc. to provide consultation on long-term financial planning and funding strategies for public health. This Agreement is the product of County RFP No. 26-0661JM.
BACKGROUND: Ascendient Healthcare Advisors, Inc. will create an action plan that addresses the Health Department’s structural deficit and builds a resilient and financially sustainable organization positioned to meet current and future strategic operational needs, future population growth, and long-term success in improving Snohomish County’s population health outcomes, including formulating new and sustainable public health funding strategies.
