EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION:  Approved by Lacey Harper 6/11/24

 

PURPOSE: Council approval for Executive signature to execute the Affordable Housing and Behavioral Health Capital Fund Interlocal Agreement

 

BACKGROUND: County Council approved Ordinances 19-062 (1406) and  21-098 (1590) for affordable housing and behavioral facilities.   The Affordable Housing and Behavioral Health (AHBH) Capital Fund Investment Plan was approved by Motion 23-492.  The AHBH Capital Fund Interlocal Agreement (ILA) is an agreement between the County and cities/towns in Snohomish County to use the existing Technical Advisory Committee and Policy Advisory Committee to review applications and make funding recommendations to County Council.    

The request is for County Council to approve the AHBH Capital Fund and authorize the County Executive to execute the AHBH Capital Fund ILA.
