PURPOSE: The Snohomish County 911 Governing Board has recommended changes to the Agreement that require approval by the legislative authorities of the principals and has submitted the Amended and Restated Snohomish County Regional Public Safety Communications Agency Interlocal Agreement (the “Amended and Restated Agreement”) for County approval.
BACKGROUND: The Snohomish County Regional Public Safety Communications Agency Interlocal Agreement became effective as of January 1, 2018, to provide a governance structure to oversee the operations of emergency communication services. The SNO911 Board of Directors are recommending amendments to the ILA and these amendments must be approved by the Snohomish County Council.
