PURPOSE: Approving the 2022 Collective Bargaining Agreement between Snohomish County and the Washington State Council of County and City Employees, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, Local 1811-S

 

BACKGROUND: This is a one (1) year agreement with the Washington State Council of County and City Employees, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, Local 1811-S effective January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022.  The agreement provides for a 3% cost of living adjustment effective January 1, 2022, and a lump sum payment for those employed on January 2, 2022, in the amount of $1000, $2000 or $3000 to be determined by an employee’s top step annual salary. The agreement includes the addition of Juneteenth (June 19) as a paid legal holiday. Finally, Appendix “A” modifies the pay grade for the Levy Comptroller position. This agreement supersedes the agreement that expired December 31, 2021 and covers approximately 10 employees.
