PURPOSE: To authorize the County Executive to execute amendment No. 1 to the interlocal agreement between Snohomish County and Marshland Flood Control District for Flood Damage Reduction.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County has an established Flood Damage Reduction Grant Program. In 2023 Marshland Flood Control District was awarded $120,000 in funds by an Interlocal Agreement executed on March 26, 2024, and expires on December 31, 2025. The Marshland Flood Control District and the County wish to amend the Agreement to extend the deadline to December 31, 2026.
