EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved
PURPOSE: Snohomish County District Court will continue to provide voluntary pre-trial services for individuals who have been charged with quality of life crimes and may have contributing unaddressed substance use dependency, mental health issues, and may be experiencing housing instability.
BACKGROUND: District Court submitted a grant application, and was awarded grant funds in the amount of $15,500 by the Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts to provide reimbursements to assist the District Court with costs related to expanding the pre-trial pilot program and services for a period from July 15, 2025 through June 30, 2026.
