PURPOSE: Approving a 2022 Budget Transfer in Grant Control Fund 130
BACKGROUND: Amended Ordinance 21-094 appropriated Cathcart proceeds for various projects. Alternative funding sources were identified for a subset of these projects and Motion 21-456 was approved reducing the Operating Transfers, allowing the projects to be funded with ARP funding. Supplemental Appropriation Ordinance 22-001 was submitted to Council for consideration to allow the re-purposed funding to be utilized in 2022 for Council Projects, Professional Services, and Social Justice Initiatives, but to complete the funding strategy, a budget transfer of $200,000 from Fund 130 Program 218 to Program 517 is needed.
