PURPOSE: Approve consolidated contract amendment #14 to amend the statement of work for the COVID-19 LHJ Vaccination-ARPA program and add a new statement of work for the monkeypox prevention and response program. This ordinance would also approve future amendments to the consolidated contract with the Washington State Department of Health that support the current programmatic work.
BACKGROUND: On June 7, 2023, the Snohomish County Council passed Ordinance 23-044 approving amendment #11 to the consolidated contract with the Washington State Department of Health and providing authority for future amendments that align with the current bodies of work. Since that time, two amendments have been signed. Amendment #14 to the consolidated contract adds an extra body of work and so staff are seeking approval to add this body of work to the approval authority list.
