PURPOSE: Arts Commission Member Recommendation to Council - District 2 At Large

 

BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Code 2.95.010 created the Snohomish County Arts Commission advisory board. This board gives advice on how to use the 1% for the arts funds and recommends annual business plans under SCC 2.95.050.  Members of the board serve four-year terms.  The County Executive consults with the Arts Commission before recommending people for appointment.  The Snohomish County Arts Commission supports the appointment of Murray “Skip” Ferderber.  Skip Ferderber has expressed interest in serving and will bring valuable experience and perspective.
