PURPOSE: Transmit to Council the public official bond of J. Daniel Augustine for approval
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Code 3.01.010 requires that Public Official and employee bonds issued by a surety company shall be required for the County Executive, each County Council member, the County Assessor, Auditor, Clerk, Prosecutor, Sheriff, Treasurer, each District Court Judge, and the Medical Examiner. SCC 3.01.030 requires that any County official or employee bond be approved as to form by the County Executive and the Prosecuting Attorney, and approved by the County Council. A surety bond has been presented by the newly appointed Chief Medical Examiner.
