PURPOSE: APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF THE AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WITH COMPENSATION CONNECTIONS, LLC FOR A CLASSIFICATION STUDY
BACKGROUND: The Snohomish County Central Human Resources Department, in collaboration with Snohomish County Airport staff, has identified the need for a comprehensive review of job classifications specific to the Airport. Many of the current classifications do not accurately reflect the work performed, the level of responsibility, or the unique nature of Airport operations. This misalignment can lead to inefficiencies in recruitment, compensation, and organizational development. To address this, the County issued a Request for Proposals (RFP-25-0408BC) seeking a qualified consultant to perform a focused classification study. Following a competitive evaluation process, Compensation Connections, LLC was selected as the preferred vendor.
