PURPOSE: Council approval and authorize the executive to sign the State/Federal Agreement with Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, Home & Community Living Administration (HCLA). Expedited approval requested given delay in County approval to accept AAA State Federal Agreement.
BACKGROUND: The State/Federal Agreement provides for the following services, as specified in the AAA's current area plan, either directly or through administrative oversight or subcontractors. The Snohomish County Area Plan on Aging includes the following services:
1. Title XIX Medicaid

b. Adult Day Services Program
c. Nursing Services

e. Laptop Replacement Schedule
f. Community Living Connections/Information and Assistance Medicaid Administrative Claiming

9. Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP)
10. Agency Worker Health Insurance (AWHI) for Non-Medicaid Services
11. Caregiver Training Tuition for Non-Medicaid Services
