PURPOSE: To obtain an easement for retaining wall.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County is redeveloping the Arlington Operations Center, beginning with construction this summer and continuing through 2026. As part of the redevelopment, it has become apparent that Snohomish County will need to build a retaining wall along the common property boundary along the south line as part of the redevelopment. In preparation of that the County needs to obtain a permanent easement for below ground, tie-back anchors that will support and stabilize the retaining wall, after construction across property to the south owned by Cuz Concrete and known as Snohomish County Tax Account No. 31051500401400. The agreed cost for the permanent easement will be $28,238.00.
