PURPOSE: The purpose of this ECAF is to approve and execute the Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with Carahsoft Technology Corp. for a software subscription provided by C3.ai for AI redaction SaaS services.
BACKGROUND: The Executive's Office Public Records Officer desires to continue their pilot AI redaction software subscription developed in 2025 utilizing the IT Innovation fund. The Purchasing department approved PB-26-0662 through ECAF 2026-0897 for C3.ai's redaction software subscription under the terms of the NASPO Agreement AR2472 and the Washington State Participating Addendum #05116. Pursuant to Purchasing approval of PB-26-0662, the Information Technology Department has negotiated a Cooperative Purchasing Agreement and Statement of Work with Carahsoft Technology Corporation for C3.ai redaction software over a 6-month period from April-September 2026, at a cost not to exceed $50,000 plus applicable sales tax.
