PURPOSE: To authorize the County Executive to sign an agreement for live fire training services with 139Fire, LLC at Snohomish County Airport.
BACKGROUND:
• Airport Rescue Firefighters are required to participate in a live fire training every twelve (12) consecutive calendar months to maintain FAA compliance.
• An aircraft live fire training simulator will be brought to Paine Field to complete this federal requirement.
• Federally mandated live fire training will be conducted in compliance with Federal Air Regulation (FAR) Part 139.319.
• This is a two-year contract for $54,770 to provide live fire training services via RFP No.23-003BC .
