PURPOSE: Appoint Curt Krause to Agricultural Advisory Board to represent Position 5: Direct Marketing
BACKGROUND: Executive Dave Sommers recommends the appointment of Curt Krause to the Agricultural Advisory Board to serve as a representative for Position 5: Direct Marketing. An agricultural advisory board (board) is hereby created as an advisory body to the county council, planning commission, hearing examiner and county executive with duties and responsibilities as set forth in SCC 2.06.040. The board shall forward its advice and recommendations directly to the intended advisee, and copy said advice and recommendations directly to the county council, county executive, the department of planning and development services, and the department of finance. Per SCC, a resident engaged in agricultural direct marketing is represented on the Board in Position 5.
