PURPOSE: To obtain Executive approval of the Professional Services Agreement with Davis Door, Inc.
BACKGROUND: The Facilities Department has had a maintenance contract for door and gate maintenance through Precision Door under RFP-01-18SR which had reached expiration as of April 9, 2025. A new RFP was issued under RFP 25-0377RB. The work was awarded to Davis Door through the competitive bid process. Buildings served include Admin West, Robert J. Drewel, Parking Garage, Oakes and Wall Street Jails, Records, Carthcart Fleet and Public Works buildings, Health Department, Arlington and McDougall Fleet buildings, Medical Examiner and Moderate Risk Waste. Funding for this contract was anticipated in the 2025-2026 budget and is approved in the budget. This ECAF is to Expedite as the County has been without a means to repair and service doors since April and is unable to still until the final execution of this agreement. We are requesting the contract be executed by December 10, 2025, with an execution date of December 12, 2025.
