PURPOSE: Bid Award Recommendation for RFP-25-0391LY - Job Order Contracting Services
BACKGROUND: A competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) was issued to select two firms to perform Job Orders for the County Job Order Contracting (JOC) Program in accordance with RCW 39.10.420-460. JOC is a program where a contractor or contractors perform individual projects (job orders) as needed based upon competitively acquired, pre-established unit pricing. There were six proposals received. Forma Construction Co. and Saybr Contractors, Inc. were the highest ranked contractors. By statute, the contracts are for a two-year term with the option to extend for one additional year. The combined expenditure amount is anticipated to be $3,500,000 annually.
