EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved
PURPOSE: Authorize the Arts Commission Funding Agreement between Snohomish County and the Arts Commission endorsed project, Marry Rockstad, artist -- not to exceed $7,500.
BACKGROUND: 2.95.010 establishes the Snohomish County Arts Commission pursuant to SCC 2.95.050 <https://snohomish.county.codes/SCC/2.95.050>. SCC 2.95.010 authorizes the County to create the arts fund and administer a program to allocate revenues accruing to it under provisions of 2.95.080. These funds are reserved for support of public art projects. This project was approved by the Snohomish County Arts Commission during their monthly meeting on 8.17.2026 and is within the Executive’s authority to execute as outline in Motion 23-568 and per SCC 3.04.140 (2).
