EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approve
PURPOSE: To reappoint J. Elaine Johannsen of Monroe (Council District #5 At Large) to her third full term which expires December 31, 2025.
BACKGROUND: The Fair Advisory Board was created to assist the Fair Manager and the county in the operation and production of the Evergreen State Fair. The Board is comprised of 11 members, one from each of the five Council districts and six at-large members. This will be J. Elaine Johannsen’s third full term. All her volunteerism on the board, work experience and community involvement will continue to be an asset to the Fair Advisory Board. County Executive Dave Somers recommends this appointment pursuant to SCC 2.03.030. Council confirmation is respectfully requested.
