PURPOSE: To reappoint Naz Lashgari to the Snohomish County Public Facilities District Board of Directors to serve a second term that will expire June 30, 2029.
BACKGROUND: : Executive Dave Somers recommends the reappointment of Naz Lashgari to the Snohomish County Public Facilities District Board of Directors (PFD) to serve a second four-year term. Lashgari, who resides in District 3, is currently an engaged and valuable member of the PFD. The PFD was chartered by Snohomish County to oversee potential acquisition, construction, operation, and financing of one or more regional centers and related parking as allowed for in RCW 36.100. The board is made up of five members appointed by the council to reflect the interests of cities and towns in the county, as well as unincorporated areas of the county.
