PURPOSE: To provide mandated legal defense services for children age 12 or over who are involved in a dependency action, for the period from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023, with a potential for two (2) additional one (1) year extensions.
BACKGROUND: In Washington State, children age 12 and over, who are involved in the dependency process are required to be represented by counsel.
