PURPOSE: To recommend the appointment of Marie Jubie to the North Sound Behavioral Health Administrative Services Organization Advisory Board.
BACKGROUND: The North Sound Behavioral Health Administrative Services Organization (NSBHASO) Advisory Board currently has 3 (three) Snohomish County vacancies. The NSBHASO Advisory Board advocates for the interests of individuals with mental health issues and substance use disorder, and provides recommendations to the NSBHASO Board of Directors, consisting of elected officials from Island, San Juan, Skagit, Whatcom, and Snohomish Counties. The Advisory Board is comprised of twenty-six (26) members, nine (9) from Snohomish County.
Marie Jubie has been on the NSBHASO for over 20 years and brings an immense level of experience advocating for behavioral health services within Snohomish County. The North Sound Behavioral Health Administrative Services Organization Advisory Board voted unanimously to recommend this individual for appointment on 5/07/2024. Marie Jubie's term expires 5/07/2027. Marie Jubie does not serve on any other Snohomish County boards or commissions.
