PURPOSE: To approve the contract for legal services for the Charter Review Commission Legal Support
BACKGROUND: The Charter Review Commission meets every ten years to review the Charter and propose amendments to the November ballot for voter consideration. The Commission also hires their own independent staff. This motion will approve the agreement with their selected Charter Review Commission Legal Firm Thompson, Guildner & Associates, Inc., P.S. for a not-to-exceed amount of $70,000.
