PURPOSE: Contract Renewal
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County has been a participating jurisdiction in the Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force (SRDTF) since its inception in 1988. The existing interlocal agreement expires December 31, 2024. The term of this agreement is for one-year effective January 1, 2025, and continue through December 31, 2025. The participating jurisdictions have indicated their desire to continue the operations of the SRDTF. The SRDTF personnel perform their duties under the direction of the Sheriff’s Office through the Task Force Commander, an exempt appointee of the Sheriff. Each of the participating jurisdictions is in the signature process, as is customary at this time of the year, for this annual renewal. The County’s approval indicates the County’s commitment to partner with any and all signing jurisdictions.
