PURPOSE: To sell remnant piece of property to neighboring property owner

 

BACKGROUND: The Snohomish County Department of Parks and Recreation sold a portion of the Centennial Trail on November 30, 2006 to the City of Lake Stevens that left a remnant piece that is approximately 2,613 square feet in size. Snohomish County Department of Parks and Recreation and the City of Lake Stevens have no use for the remnant piece.The neighbor to said remnant piece is willing to purchase the piece for $8,000.00;
