PURPOSE: Cancel and extinguish 4-year delinquent personal property taxes.
BACKGROUND: The Treasurer shall file with the county legislative authority, a list of 4-year delinquent personal property taxes, stating that the Treasurer has made a diligent search and inquiry for goods and was unable to collect the same. The county legislative authority shall cancel such taxes as the county legislative authority is satisfied, they cannot be collected.
