PURPOSE: Bid Award Recommendation - PW-25-0619SB - Intermodal Rail Yard Track Expansion, Phase 1
BACKGROUND: A competitive bid was issued for Phase 1 of the Intermodal Rail Yard Track Expansion project with contemplated work including, but not limited to erosion and sediment controls, addition of rail track spur, pavement and site improvements, including demolition of existing site features, offsite disposal of hazardous and dangerous waste, reconfiguring entrance to the site. Five (5) bid submittals were received, the lowest responsible bidder being Northwest Construction, Inc. for an award amount of $4,769,431.00 plus applicable Washington State Sales Tax. All work to be completed in accordance with terms and conditions of the contract documents.
