PURPOSE: Retroactive Council ratification of a Human Services Professional Services Agreement amendment.
BACKGROUND: The purpose of this action is to request retroactive Council ratification of a professional services agreement with KDK Consulting to increase the maximum funding from $50,000 to $200,000 which exceeds our delegated authority for professional services agreements. Human Services asks for Council to approve the attached motion, approving Human Services to sign amendment 1. KDK Consulting billed a total of $138,993.75 for services provided under this agreement.
Human Services has taken steps to ensure this error does not occur again as outlined in the Procurement Compliance Form submitted along with the motion.
