BACKGROUND: A competitive Invitation to Bid was issued to solicit pricing for the construction of a High Friction Surface Treatment over an existing asphalt or bituminous pavement surface at selected horizontal curves as well as traffic control, pavement markings and other work. Recommended award to Kamins Construction Inc. in the amount of $332,020.55 .
